032c Workshop Presents: The Blackhaine Capsule

“It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the landing.”

Blackhaine by Nadine Fraczowski for 032c Issue #48
Loyal 032c readers might recognize that headline from the Blackhaine cover story in our new Winter Issue. 032c and Blackhaine first connected in late 2023 when Phillip Pyle interviewed the musician and choreographer for 032c.com. His practice and singular vision prompted a deeper collaboration and lead to him being a cover star of 032c Issue #48. Photographed by Nadine Fraczkowski and styled by Celestine Cooney, it was accompanied by an in-depth interview by Claire Koron Elat.
This ongoing collaboration now takes physical form in a three-piece capsule collection, developed together with Blackhaine as the inaugural release of 032c Workshop. 032c Workshop operates alongside 032c Readytowear as a distinct platform. Less seasonal, more immediate, and priced accessibly, it approaches merchandise as a cultural object rather than a fashion commodity.

Kantstraße store installation
The capsule launches Thursday, January 29, exclusively in-store at 032c Kantstrasse, Berlin, followed by an online release on Tuesday, February 3 at 032c.com.
Comprising a derby scarf, T-shirt, and gloves, the three-piece capsule draws from Blackhaine’s conceptual and visual language. The graphic design weaves together references to Preston Bus Station, Ramleh, and the Glasgow Rangers, creating a dialogue between the artist’s universe and the 032c spirit.
To mark the launch, the Kantstrasse store will present a video work by Blackhaine, situating the collection within his wider artistic practice.
Created exclusively to accompany the launch of Blackhaine’s Issue #48 cover, the capsule reflects his raw, confrontational aesthetic and the freedom of his practice, while embodying Workshop’s ethos of immediacy, experimentation, and accessibility.
