STABLE: 032c Mode Spring Summer 2027 at Paris Fashion Week
032c Mode debuted STABLE, its Spring Summer 2027 womenswear collection, with a presentation during Paris Fashion Week Womenswear at La Ménagerie de Verre in Paris on October 3, 2026.

STABLE begins with the tension between control and desire, discipline and decadence. The collection is informed by the Neue Sachlichkeit (New Objectivism) movement of Germany’s Weimar era, when notions of freedom and femininity were being radically redefined. Painter Lotte Laserstein embodies this spirit of experimentation, dispelling perceived contradictions in her depictions of women as feminine and athletic, direct and mysterious, self-possessed and vulnerable, serious when at play. The season’s tailoring is cut close to the body; sheer blouses expose and technical fabrics cover; robust fabrics collide with delicate silks; evening dresses introduce softness, movement, and tactility. Within this womenswear system, the codes of equestrianism are used symbolically and practically. Derived from Maria Koch’s personal practice in competitive riding, they are stripped of any nostalgia or romance. Here, equestrianism is synonymous with performance, movement, and precision. Clothing is treated as equipment, engineered to support balance, withstand pressure, provide protection, and ensure absolute freedom of movement. Riding breeches enter as second skins. Technical jackets follow the architecture of the body. Boots and gloves are tools, not accessories. Rather than borrowing the appearance of equestrian clothing, STABLE allows its vocabulary to spill into the “unstable,” moody reality of city life.

“Equestrianism is a unique interplay of rigor and release—in the relationship between body and movement, in its uniforms, and in the discipline it demands. I wanted to protect that tension while bringing riding into contact with another arena that has always been a part of 032c: Berlin culture, the club, creative freedom at the forefront of contemporary production.”—Maria Koch, Creative Director of 032c Mode
The presentation was about experiencing what usually happens behind closed doors, and having fun while creating it. Our guests were invited into a recreated backstage space to a live shoot against backdrop, as well as the production of runway images. The models, including Soo Joo, Kai Schreiber, and Lena Mantler, first walked with composed severity, to then pose in front of photographer Timothy Schaumburg, dancing to guilty pleasure hits like Britney Spears’ Toxic, Madonna’s Lucky Star, Kylie Minogue’s Love at First Sight, and more.
PRESS
“That set a fun—dare one say unbridled?—tone for a concise outing of crisp tailoring, from stretch wool suiting with shrunken jackets and narrow pants to a nipped-waist technical windbreaker, tracksuit jackets in soft-touch crinkled nylon and pull-on trousers that were modeled after the ones riders slip over their breeches. […] What 032c has been doing, between its semiannual magazine and its clothes, is working. The collection was plenty sleek and straight to the point. Come spring, plenty of fans will be all too happy to jump into the ring.”
